Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Satayush collects on https://satayush.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and how you can ask us to access, correct, or delete it. It covers the Satayush website as used in a browser — including Chrome and Safari on phones and computers. Satayush is a doctor job portal in India. We collect data to run accounts, job listings, applications, and hiring contact — not a patient health record and not a medical-licence registry.

Who is responsible

Satayush operates this site. Questions, access requests, and deletion requests go to Madhuri at madhuri@satayush.com or support@satayush.com. Write from the email on your account if you can, so we can match the request.

Personal data we collect

We collect personal data that you give us, that we generate when you use the site, and that Google sends us if you choose Google sign-in.

Account and sign-in

  • Email registration: first name, last name, email address, and password.
  • Google sign-in: we receive a Google ID token and the name and email Google associates with that account. We use that to create or reuse your Satayush account. We do not get your Google password.
  • Email verification, password reset, and Get Contact Details use the email address on your account.

Job search, saved jobs, and applications

  • Search and filter terms you type (for example speciality, city, or hospital name) so we can return job results.
  • Jobs you save (bookmarks) while signed in.
  • Applications you submit: the job you applied to, optional cover letter, resume file, LinkedIn URL, and portfolio URL.

Employers and posted jobs

  • If you post a role: job title, employer name, location, speciality, salary range when you provide one, roster or listing text, and the hiring contact details used when a doctor requests contact.
  • Applicant records for jobs you posted, so you can review doctors who applied.

Session, device, and logs

  • Sign-in tokens (access_token, refresh_token) and a copy of your user profile in the browser's localStorage so a second tab stays logged in. We do not use sessionStorage for the login session.
  • Technical logs that our hosting and the site may process to operate and secure the service (for example IP address, browser type, date and time, and the pages requested).

Analytics

In production we use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-FG1XQEQB0P, which is public in the page source). GA4 may set cookies or similar storage on your device and collect approximate location, device and browser type, pages viewed, and events such as viewing a job, requesting contact details, signing up, or signing in. We configure analytics so we do not send names, email addresses, or Satayush user IDs as event parameters.

How we use personal data

  • Create and authenticate your account, including Google sign-in.
  • Show public job listings and your saved jobs and applications.
  • Email hospital or agency contact details to the signed-in doctor who requested them for that job.
  • Send your application (and any resume or links you attached) to the employer for that role.
  • Let employers review applicants for jobs they posted on Satayush.
  • Send transactional email (verify address, reset password, contact details you asked for).
  • Measure how the public site is used (Google Analytics 4) so we can improve listings and the doctor job search.
  • Secure the service, debug faults, and prevent abuse.

We do not use doctor or employer contact data for our own marketing lists. We do not sell this data.

How we share personal data

  • Employers receive application materials for the job the doctor applied to. They must use that data only to assess and hire for that role.
  • Doctors receive hiring-side contact details by email when they use Get Contact Details. Those details are not printed on the public job page. Doctors must use them only to apply for that job or to ask a genuine question about that vacancy.
  • Google when you use Google sign-in (authentication) and when production analytics runs (Google Analytics 4). Google’s own policies apply to data Google processes.
  • Email delivery to send verification, password-reset, and contact-detail messages to the address on the account.
  • Hosting on servers in India that run the Satayush website and API.

We do not sell personal data. We do not share it for third-party advertising. We may disclose information if Indian law requires it or to protect doctors, employers, or the service from fraud or abuse.

Cookies, localStorage, and similar technologies

Satayush keeps your login in localStorage (access token, refresh token, and user). That is required for the site to remember you across tabs. Google Analytics 4 may use cookies or similar identifiers in production. You can sign out to clear Satayush tokens from this browser, and you can block or delete analytics cookies in your browser settings. Blocking analytics cookies does not stop you from searching jobs; it may limit our usage statistics.

How long we keep data

We keep account, saved-job, application, and listing data while the account is open and the records are needed to operate the portal (including so you and the employer can see an application you already sent). Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove or de-identify personal data we control unless we must keep a record (for example a legal dispute or abuse investigation).

Your choices

You can request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold about you by emailing madhuri@satayush.com or support@satayush.com. You can update some profile details while signed in. You can stop using Google sign-in on future visits by choosing email login instead. You may withdraw consent for optional analytics by blocking GA4 cookies. We may need to verify that the request comes from the account holder.

Children

Satayush is aimed at doctors and healthcare employers, not at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has created an account, write to us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to production systems is limited to operating Satayush. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Do not share your password. Sign out on shared devices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product changes. The date at the top of the page is the current version. Material changes will appear here and at https://satayush.com/privacy.
